What are the required documents to apply to Turkish universities?

Do I need to provide documents for language proficiency?

If you choose to study in English a TOEFL or IELTS Diploma is required (optional), you can also choose to take the university english proficiency test.
If you don’t provide any of those diplomas or if you fail the proficiency test you will have to take a year of English preparatory school.

How do I obtain my Student Visa for Turkey?

In order to get a student visa for Turkey, you first have to get your acceptance letter from a Turkish university.

Once you get this document you’ll be able to apply for your student visa by booking an appointment at the Turkish Representation at your home country or a nearby country if you can’t apply in your country.

However, we advise you to apply at least 2 months in advance, as some countries only issue student visas after 50 days.

Will I be allowed to work in Turkey after my graduation ?

Yes, working in Turkey after graduation is possible. Especially after graduating from a Turkish university, it increases the chances of getting a job. It would be also good to learn the Turkish language in order to be comfortable working in a Turkish speaking environment.
